Christobal is currently struggling to finish up his MBA and is looking to start up his own media conglomerate in the likeness of Carl Ichan. According to the Squawk on the Street the older whales that he looks p to do not have the "edge" like they used to. Is this really the case cause at a ripe age of 24 ok ok ok 26... I feel I have lost mine. My birthday is coming up soon and I would just like to take the time to invite all who are interested to celebrate Cinco De Nako in style at Palais Royale in NY. Cinco De Nako will actually be celebrated on May 4th this year, which is a Friday. Come One Come all!
Lil John Pic of the Day
This picture is Hilarious. Thanks for the heads up J.
Since our first day we have been trying to figure out what www.nakashon.com really is. We have been called everything from a "swaggerjack," "Piece of Crap" and a "BS webpage." This is all true but we draw the line when we are called a "Blog" and lumped in with the likes of Gothamist, Gawker and http://www.drunkenstepfather.com (although we are huge fans of the smut Jesus promotes on his site). Regardless of my rant here is an interesting article on the etiquette of Blogging from the NY Times. Should we really even be discussing this? Cause who really cares. click here to read the article -A Call for Manners in the World of Nasty Blogs
The World of Arnold T. Pants pt. 1.
Recently, Arnold T. Pants has been feeling a little low. First, some kids called him a f@# on the internet. Second, he spent the weekend watching movies that involved old german dudes having sweating sex with hookers, in close proximity to his mom. This has led him down a long and scary path of loneliness and isolation. read more
To try to bond with his girlfriend's father - Staff Writer Christobal has picked up golf in order to spend some quality time on the green. At first he was hesitant but now he won't shut up about it. Here is the golf tip of the day... Weighty issues
I teach people to feel the weight in the head of the golf club by this process:
1) Hold the club vertically in front of you with the clubhead up in the air. In this position, the clubhead feels too light.
2) Now gradually allow the club to come down until it is parallel to the ground. At this point, the clubhead feels too heavy.
3) At a point about halfway in between, you can feel the weight in the club. Circle the clubhead very slowly and note that the weight is making your wrist react to the weight.
That's the pressure you want in your hands and arms throughout the golf swing.
Random Movie Pick of the Week which none of the staff have seen - Namesake -According to my girlfriend's father who I deeply fear and respect at the same time- I am sure most of you understand - (this is directed towards Aron Hubbert) Namesake is a terrific movie about family bonding...I mistakenly made direct eye contact with him when he discussed this movie and should have just looked at the floor and said "yes sir". Let's hope he never reads this website.
Rest in Peace
