Interview with Nate from Huge in Asia

Nate, incredibly, has founded two of the internets best things. One is www.hugeinasia.com, which chronicles his time learning about Asia (or as Christobal calls it the "Orient"), racing locals and producing top 10 bangers in Hanoi. The second is rap dialectic, a program that turns battle rapping on its head and infuses humor in a genre that has lost its spark. In both cases, Nate explores the possibilities of entertaining the masses through multiple platforms and pushes the boundaries of what is normally accepted.

Recently he spent 10 minutes in a cramped internet café to share some thoughts with nakashon. click here to read more

Gritz's World

In New York, the bar du jour is often the place where Mischa Barton allegedly threw up or Nicole Ritchie had her first regularly cycled period since she was 12. The obsession with revoltingly thin celebrities and talentless harlots is enough to make you want press a button that says, "End the world." Most of the celebrity "It" girls are actually somewhat ross but are famous for being rich and acting like utter twats. In England, however, there is a little thing called soaps. They have names like Eastenders, CoronationSt., and Emerdale Farm. They feature real people who are really, really ross. The storylines are rife with low class people who work in cafes, celebrate Christmas by having a pint, and lose all their money and self-respect to hard cunts who rule small swaths of London and rural England with an iron fist. In short, they are the absolute dog's bollocks. click here to read more

Interveiw with HBS

Back in February, Pants went to Memphis. He was so excited to visit Fed Ex and learn all the ins and outs of a major shipping empire. Alas, he soon found that Osama Bin Laden had ruined this opportunity. Fear of terrorist attack meant even regular folks, like Pants, were no longer allowed to tour the facility. Pants was upset, and feared he might never discover the secrets of package delivery and distribution.

Enter Handsome Boy Shipping. HBS knows everything about postal trade and manages the ins and outs of a massive company. He is also hilarious. After some finagling, HBS agreed to waste sometime being interviewed by nakashon and shared his thoughts on some extremely important topics and also shed some light on some difficult shipping issues. Read on.

Interview with Chris Nieratko

Chris Nieratko is infinitely more awesome than Christobal. Why? Well, for one he has written for almost all of the finest magazines in the world. He is also the owner of New Jersey Skate Shop which has, to my knowledge, two locations. Finally, he is author of Skinema, a great new book that compiles all of Nieratko’s amazing columns from Vice Magizine.

Unbeknownst to Chris, he and a member of the nakashon team (well, me) have interacted in the past. As a spotty faced youth I was so impressed with Nierakto’s interviews for Strength Magizine that I sent him an email. He asked me if I knew any girls in my area that he could have sex with. Sadly, I didn’t even know girls that would have sex with me. And, for the most part, still don’t. Years later, a lady friend of mine ordered a polo shirt from New Jersey Skate Shop and received a really weird tee instead. She tried to return it and was treated rudely. That day I found her in tears, she relayed the story. I said “Who did you talk to?” “Some guy named Chris,” she sobbed. Then it all made sense, Nieratko.

Mr. Nieratko was nice enough to share a moment with nakashon.com and that moment produced the best interview we have ever done.click here to read more

Pants's World

How's your life? For Pants it is a bit slow. He is living part time in Philadelphia in the hopes that one of these ladies will give him the time of day. A few days ago at the ice cream shop, one said "Hey Yous," He was quite convinced she said "Hey Jews." Alas, there was none of that kind of racial humor. She did have massive hooters though, but also the kind of face that says, "I have lived, in my 19 years, a long an arduous life." click here to read more

Bollywood - Thriller

Bollywood (Hindi: बॉलीवुड, Urdu: بالی وڈ) is the informal name given to the popular Mumbai-based Hindi languagefilm industry in India. The term is often incorrectly used to refer to the whole of Indian cinema.

Bollywood is also commonly referred to as "Hindi cinema", even though Hindustani, the substratum common to both Hindi and Urdu, might be more accurate.

Many people make the mistake of defining Bollywood as all of the movies that are played in India such as Telugu, Tamil, Kannada etc. However, Bollywood consists of the languages of Hindi and Urdu. The use of poetic Urdu words is fairly common. The connection between Hindi, Urdu, and Hindustani is an extremely contentious matter and is discussed at length in the linked articles relating specifically to the languages.

Currtis "50 Cent" Jackson

If you were watching the De la Hoya fight last week you may have noticed that 50 cent walked in Floyd to the ring. He was sporting a "Curtis" Tee Shirt. In 24/7 he also referred to himself as "Curtis" in an attempt to mock the Dipset Crew. Our oppinions of 50 have officially changed.

Nakashon fully appreciates 50 cent and hyped up beef. If anyone can get us a picture of Curtis in his shirt we will promise to give you the thumbs up.
